Good morning everyone!
Yesterday was day 5 on site at the Debmar Atlantic or DA as it is abbreviated.
It was a high wind day which meant chin-straps for hard hats were a must and safety glasses are your new best friend.
The amount of dust on site is just ridiculous! I wish they would just tar or pave it all in cement!
Sorry for that rather blurry picture of myself but the wind was howling and really, the galeforce speeds is enough to push you around and make you flounder.
Because of said wind, the sky was nice a clear!
And if there is nothing else to reference to, this might actually look like a nice sunny day. The other day on camera it was just like this... but in reality the air was still and it was beautiful!
However, if you have a frame of reference you can see the net covers billowing out and sucking against the scaffolding in this picture. On the nice and sunny still day, these would have have been straight without such stress applied to them.
Meanwhile we are working inside the vessel and disassembling the Condenser plant of the Provision Fridge/Freezers.
Here is another City of Cape Town view with Table Mountian in the backdrop.
Well... I must get going!
Day 6 awaits me!
Thank you for reading!
Cheers!
@zakludick
Being on site is no joke and safety is highly recommended.
