While looking at the analytics page in YouTube Studio, I noticed a massive spike in a video a made about a webcam, with people asking me a lot of questions about installation and drivers e.t.c.
It dawned on me that people are looking to make videos, stream or participate in Zoom conferences from their computers.
People that are looking to make videos may be doing so to make some extra cash, especially in these days of historical unemployment and collapsed economy. If so, they're set for some disappointment on YouTube, for various reasons which I talk about in the video.
I also mentioned the move from the ad model to the tipping/tokenised rewards model when it comes to online video content creation.
Peace & Love,

I think it's not worth the energy promoting on YT anymore (forever pessimistic)
I want to get to 1k subs and get monetised so I can start making drama videos for money :)
It went up to 60 cents before correcting. It's about 47 cents now.
For the content creator, Hive is totally superior in terms of monetization. The fundamental reason for that is the speculation going on. The content rewards act as a kind of tax on the speculators. The valuation of our content is fundamentally driven by the greed of speculators.
I downloaded the exchange apps for my phone so I could watch from the garden haha. I saw the green candles go up in real time. It was quite exciting.
I believe that. I first saw the price inch upwards from 41 cents in the afternoon. Then I started vacuuming the house and went to the supermarket. As instructed by my wife, I bought meatballs and mashed potatoes made in a restaurant that is not allowed to be open at this time. When I came back with the food and sat down at the table, I looked at my phone and had to rub my eyes because I couldn't find Hive where it was supposed to be on Coingecko. I thought there was something in my eyes when I saw the price was 55 cents at the time. :)
Hahaha. I can just imagine. Yeah, it's nice while it lasts. Obviously the price will correct massively at some point, but it's great to get a preview of what the future will be like.
Even if it goes down 50%, it will still be considerably above the point where the pump started.
I am making $300 USD a month from my videos on HideoutTV .... they are looking for How-to, DIY, tech videos there if you are a Creator.
Are you really making $300 or is that to attract people to your affiliate link? ;)
Yes. Also.... you don’t need to use that link I will remove.
Praise baby Jesus!
