Timely video as I was just recently looking at the GoPro shorty. This looks like a great alternative.

I'm considering doing the trade in on my old Hero 5 to a Hero 8 to use for a bit better cycling footage, etc.

Thoughts?

    I think you should do it!
    The Hero 5 is good, but the Hero 8 has ultra smooth stabilization. I think only for that reason I would upgrade for cycling footage..
