I took an online class and decided to try out some of the lessons so this is actually a first when it comes to making bread.
Ingredients;
6 cups of flour
2 medium sized eggs
3 tablespoons of melted butter
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon white vinegar
A pinch of salt
1 cup of Warm water
1 cup of milk
2 tablespoons of yeast
Method of Preparation
Activate yeast first by mixing it with the warm water and set aside for 5 minutes.
Mix the salt with the flour and sugar, then make a well in the middle.
Add the activated yeast, melted butter, eggs and milk.
Wash your hands thoroughly and start mixing all ingredients together with your hands till it forms a sticky dough.
Take the dough out of the bowl, and start needing with your hands, on a clean flat surface ( for 12minutes)
Sprinkle flour to make work station easier and less sticky
Get a big bowl and grease it properly. Add the dough and cover with a clean film or any airtight cover and allow to rise for 1 hour 30 minutes
When it’s ready, deflate the dough by punching it down to take off all the trapped air.
Need a little more and Add the dough to the greased pan...the dough has to be shaped to the exact length of the pan.
Cover with a towel for another 30 minutes
Pre heat the oven with steaming method.
Put the dough in the oven and bake for 45 minutes.
You know it’s ready when your toothpick comes out clean.
Glaze the top of the bread with butter to soften the crust.
Your cake is READY!!!
