This song is about all the ups and downs of Splinterlands battling, from a seasoned player who is rich in mediocrity.
I swear, the more you play this game, the further you are away from mastering it. And everybody else gets better faster than you... at least if you're me they do.
I may have battled some 17,000 times and earned thousands of dollars in real money rewards, but the only thing I'm really good at in Splinterlands is losing. ;)

Thanks a lot! :) I appreciate your excitement and I'm glad you enjoyed the song! I can mock myself all day long and that's all in good spirit, but I'm hesitant to mock others because it may be received or interpreted differently than my intent.
I am aware of 3Speak, but I can only learn the ropes of one video platform at a time ;) and I don't like posting the same content on multiple platforms. This video was first uploaded to Youtube for hosting, then shared to D.Tube so it could be on the blockchain. I will look into 3speak and determine whether it is right for anything that I can create. As far as "staying in the HIVE family," that is not at all what I'm after. As the Splinterlands Content Director, growing the Splinterlands community will always be my primary goal. Doing so successfully grows the HIVE family. Please remember that Splinterlands is a crypto agnostic game, and while it is built on HIVE, we accept more than 20 different cryptocurrencies and we are against crypto tribalism. Our mission for a long time now has been to make connections and to strengthen the entire community, not just the HIVE community. HIVE will always benefit from our successes, but I use every opportunity that I can to open our doors to new visitors. :)

Yea, I would either use 3Speak to blog to the HIVE chain, or DTube. Personally I have more experience with 3Speak, as a viewer. Daily I watch videos at 3Speak and DTube as part of my curation rounds in the music side of things at HIVE. Rarely I have problems with 3Speak. More often I have problems with DTube.
Added to that, 3Speak is bought into HIVE completly and planning some super cool roadmap which will not only benefit 3Speak, but also HIVE. This includes a decentralised distribution system in which everyone can become a streamer. The streamers will be rewarded with a new token the team will be created. All open sourced software. And the team is also driving co-operation between other (HIVE) dApps, to re-use features from other teams, rather than re-inventing and re-developing the wheels. As a whole package, I truly like what 3Speak is doing and trying to do on the future. They seem to have a true heart for decentralisation, open source, and working together.
Am perfectly fine with that approach, don't get me wrong :)
