Of the 120 million companies on the planet, the top roughly 2800 participate in the stock market. In a nutshell, from my very narrow understanding of it, the stock market is literally just a computer game, that anyone can play on their phone, where a bunch of people go to have their money stolen by bots owned by those residing at the top of these large companies; in turn contributing further to the size of these massive companies. Those that became wealthy playing this game did so simply by pressing the same three buttons over and over on a very basic UI. Amazing.
None of this ever dawned on me before and it hit pretty hard.
Then I just recently ( like a couple weeks ago ) began to understand blockchains and their potential and became fascinated. These videos were going to have some kind of chronology to them - where essentially the modern world is a demon who has more power over individuals than they have over themselves but now I'm probably gonna resort to just making something strange and unrelated every so often.
