When we first started making fire indoor, we had a big problem! We kept filling the house with smoke. Turns out that when there is no fire and the stove is cold, the outside air will push down the chimney and into the house.
Our tip today is about warming up the flue. before actually lighting your fire. This will cause the air to warm up and begin to draw correctly upward.
Stay safe and enjoy your fire!

Thanks for sharing:)Hello @freedompoint, I found this video extremely useful. I live on a narrowboat with my husband @scubahead and we have been learning to start and manage our fire by trial and error.
Wow! I am so glad this can help you!

I have never make a fire both indoor and outdoor so this is really such an interesting video for me. Thank you for the video.
