This is in no way about a person, but an idea. Is doomsday prepping a reality or a fantasy. Is it a hopeful idea that the world will reset and then you will be free from previous debts and responsibilities?
What if we created the life that we would want after an apocalypse and just enjoy it now? Wouldn't living your life using your knowledge and skills everyday be more rewarding that living with constant anticipation of a fallout? Just our idea

Exactly! Yal nail it in this video. I have been 'doing' the above question for years now and although there are more responsibilities involved and lots more work... life assuredly feels way more rewarding than living some fear based fantasy or fetishizing the hoarding of material goods and armaments.
Heck yeah! Fetishizing is a great word for it. Almost seems overboard and sometimes a little too excited.
