I would say it is possibly PTSD or stress. Either way, if they offer up counseling, accept the offer. Many times it is offered to help relieve some of the stress, give possible help.
Gigi is suffering from the same stress as her human. :) I hope she feels better and I know you are taking such good care of your little girl. You are good for each other. I hope you find what you need, although don't be surprised if you find anything. With all the people at the border, there might be slim pickings. Donations are coming from all over, people have been very giving on items people may need.
