Some people say they will not do the job, they will do freelancing. Freelancing is also one kind of job. You are free to work from anywhere. You decide what to do and when to do it. You have the flexibility. Still why you don't want to be a freelancer?
There are some challenges as a freelancer. While doing a job, you need to look for another job. You may have an account on the freelance marketplace. Building your profile and reputation in the freelance marketplace takes time and effort. You work hard for that. Your account may get banned at any time. Although you can apply for reassessment, they are in control. Once you lose your account, that's over. There are successful freelancers. But I think it is better to transform from freelancers to entrepreneurs. You can convert it into a business. You will have more control then.

one other drawback that you have as a freelancer is that you are responsible for your own taxation and don't have additional benefits like that of an employee!
Btw you can be a freelancer and work a 9-5 job 5 days per week!

Yes, you are responsible for your taxation. In spite of having challenges, you can be a successful freelancer. I see most freelancers start their own businesses at some point. And that's great!
