I was surprised to learn that there are Irish bouzouki.
I didn `t know about it. I thought that there are only Greek bouzouki.
Since this is their national instrument.

They are pretty similar though I think the scale of the Greek bouzouki is longer and tuned differently. One day I want to get a Greek one though.

I wish your wishes come true as soon as possible!

Its either a greek bouzouki or a greek louta that I want. The bouzouki is a bit more versatile.

Awesome jam, I used to live in Colorado many years ago, but don't think I ever saw this instrument out there anywhere.

I have seen it in movies and things, but this is the first time I've seen a Hiver playing it. Thanks for sharing.

This is the guy that built it. He has a unique way of building them so that the the neck and body are barely attached allowing for fine tuning of the action on the instrument. http://www.herbtaylor.com/instruments/
