I wanted to buy a pair of black jeans for a long time, so today finally decided to do the deed. We all have that one favorite pair of jeans that we mostly wear. The other ones sit in the cupboard feeling jealous.
I've always felt that even my favorite one lacks a feature. I've never been completely satisfied with any of them. Either I was doing something wrong in selecting a perfect pair or they were all shit.
Today , out of the blue I entered a men's wear store. I was not sure if it would fit me, but because it had an exchange policy, I bought it.
I know that many women already buy men's jeans and it's nothing new for them, my hello to those ladies, as I am new to the team .
Came back home and tried it....
As if I found a soulmate..
And I am not exaggerating.
Though I don't believe in soulmates, but in case of a good pair of jeans, I do..
The side pockets are so deep, even if I put two mobile phones, there is some space left. And this time, the back-pockets were not for a mere show off.
On a comfort scale, almost felt like pyjamas.
Men's jeans are said to have a larger crotch volume and a different hip fit. Whereas, for women it is more about accommodating the curves. But then, why do they lack good sized pockets. Do they want us to spend on a handbag or a clutch for basic items like phone and wallet?
Will someone buy those tiny clutches (except for when wearing one piece, gown or any other clothing) if our jeans start having enough space. I think their sales will surely go down. Or will it not?
The one I bought has all features in one pair - Flexibility, comfort and large pockets (ALL IN ONE) which is not the case with the previous ones I had.
→ Regarding T-shirts I have a similar story.
Few years ago I selected a t-shirt for my little brother. It was too big for him so I ended up wearing it. From that day I've never looked back.
Why can't they design better clothes for us. Or if available, they can't be easily found on local stores .
I think they should stop man-labeling certain clothes. Because of this labelling, I was buying those stupid T-shirts. Yes, the waist cut differs, but that makes zero difference in my life.
Now I don't believe in gender labels, sometimes happiness can be found on the other side : )

Womens jeans are really stupid to be honest. They have no function to them and it’s so dumb! My wife complains about it all the time. The pockets are nearly non-existent and it makes no sense.
Yeah I realized this only after trying men's one. Now I know what I was missing all these years.

I used to think that having small pockets is normal until I heard other women complaining. Sometimes grass is actually greener on the other side 😛. My high five to your fiance. Thanks for stopping by Wes..

Better late than never, now you know what to look for when next you go shopping.
It's never about the labels but how it suits you.
I was recently misled by the label on a cloth, so trust me 😉
Yup! I very well know now😙
