Don't Ask Why...

SOoooooooooooo......... Even though I'm within that age bracket when the brain shows signs of encroaching dementia, I do remember recently stating I'm going on break from blogging on Social-Media. Therefore, you might be wondering, "What the hell is he doing back so soon"...?!?!?!?!?

Well... In all honesty, I don't know. I must be more bored than usual...and... since I'm bored, I might as well bore some other poor souls on the chain who might not be bored; out of spite!!!

If you're as bored as me today, or more bored, then this stupid, boring post might actually lift your spirits a bit - somehow...

I'm no expert on psychological matters, but I have heard that 'Misery loves company' (Whatever the hell that means?)

If that's true, then happy people must hate company... and to me, it doesn't seem true. I've welcomed having people come to my house when I was feeling happy in the past. Until they made me miserable for some reason or another... Then, I just wanted them OUT...!!!

I don't know... Maybe I'm different than most people. Once I'm miserable, I don't want company hanging around messing with my head.

Do you like people hanging around when you're feeling in the dumps about something, or pissed off? What if they're trying to cheer you up with stupid jokes? That's the WORSE...!!!

Sometimes I feel like killing happy people. Especially if they're trying to cheer me up. They're the worse kind of people on the planet.

I had a girlfriend who tried cheering me up one morning by cooking breakfast for me. It was bad enough to sit there listening to her happily moving about in the kitchen, singing and stuff like that. THEN... she plops a plate of pancakes down in front of me with sliced hot-dogs and raisons in the damned things...?!?!?!?!?

Holy-shmoley... I almost barfed just by looking at the ugly mound, covered in maple syrup to boot!!!

Looking back, I'm glad I didn't kill her... she was otherwise a rather pleasant person - when she wasn't trying to cheer me up...

ANYWAYzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........

Here's hoping this post isn't taken the wrong way. I'm NOT trying to cheer anybody up with it; so, don't curse me out, hunt me down and try to kill me...

That's about it for now, my friends. I'll catch up with you down the road, to see what's up.

Till then... if you're happy... stay that way if it pleases you. Just don't show up at my door with a big stupid grin on your face...!!!

Ciao

Agreed!😂😂😂

Morning people -- especially those who wake up chipper, perky, and talky -- are the absolute worst!

How can a brain even properly function before drinking a few cups of caffeine?
Ptff! ☕☕♨️☕☕

Good seeing you posting!
Have a great whatever-kind-of weekend you want! @angryman😶🙃

😎 Hi Nina... Thanks for stopping by and not being cheery; that alone makes me feel a lot better😎 WEEKEND...!?!?!?!?!? I thought it was Thursday!!! Now what the hell am I gonna do...!?!?!?!

Now what the hell am I gonna do...!?!?!?

Entirely up to you, though I suggest what you should not do...anything that has to do with pancakes, sliced hot dogs or raisins! 🚫🥞🌭🌰😂🚫

Look forward to seeing weekend post/s from you! Take it easy or anyway you can get it! @angryman

Good to see you angryman, at least you are starting to live up to your name!

SHE PUT HOT DOGS IN THE PANCAKES?

Anyway, hope all is well.

Yeah... HOT DOGS in pancakes, plus raisons; hard to believe, but true... She actually hated to cook, so that gesture was an act of love, regardless of result😎 These many years later, I chuckle when thinking about it and smile whenever I think about her...

All is well, thank you. Hope the same for you.

Yep that was an act of love and yep, it's gross! :)

And you get it now, so that counts for the next "her".

All is well, here it's Spring, Joe is healthy, Life is good.

Glad you came back early.

The breakfast she made was so weird. I can't imagine what lunch and dinner looked like.

Yeah... She hated to cook, but at least had an adventurist nature, which usually made life a bit more interesting and fun. Her heart was always in the right place. One of the few women I've ever known who showered me with true love of every description...🤗

Hey man, always good to hear that you're holding up the fort! I haven't been around much, hope that life is medium, not too good, not too bad hahaha.

Hi Mr. Privat; good to hear from you.

Yes, I know you dropped out of sight to a degree for concentrating upon your music production. Good luck with that... I wish you well.

I suspect you'll be getting much busier with farm chores as well since Spring has arrived within our zone. I'll be digging and planting in my vegetable garden too; and talking to all the little life forms that appear...😎

most hilarious content I've read all day. 😂😂😂😂.

All those "do gooders" trying to tell me that I am overreacting whenever I am feeling down...

I feel like tossing them into a corner...

But, either ways, they are the reason I don't go off the ring and do something I might regret later.

I'm glad you enjoyed the little piece I wrote @drceeyou.

I see that you're an MD, according to your page description. That girlfriend I wrote about making me weird pancakes, was a Respiratory Therapist...😎

Thanks for popping in and commenting.

That girlfriend I wrote about making me weird pancakes, was a Respiratory Therapist

Oh! No kidding. Maybe that's why she's so sweet.

I see that you're an MD,

Yeah, I am. Although I can't say I am proud that I am, but I am happy.

Yes, she was a sweet girl. That's why I loved to have her practice her resuscitation skills on me😏

Being an MD, especially in a commercially based clinical environment these days, can make for a less than noble medical practitioner.$$$

words on marble sir.

So how did the pancakes taste? I never tried maple syrup on Hot Dogs, I do like dipping my corn-dogs, when I get one every now and then, in Honey Mustard. Not sure maple syrup would be a good dipping sauce for hot dogs or corn-dogs.

When I bemoaned the sight in front of me, she proceeded to pour more syrup over the stack saying, "Eat them... they're good for you..."

Honey Mustard on corn-dogs sound better than maple syrup on frankfurters and raisons...😎

Lol sorry man I’m one of those happy people! I try to stay that way until something changes it. I get that one from my dad I think, he’s always so chipper in the mornings.

The best way a girlfriend can make you happy in the morning is with some sex before the pancakes! Preferably without hotdogs in them of course, that’s fucking weird lol I would try it though.

Some people would prefer sex with the pancakes, buddy... spread all over the body...😏

Thanks for popping in with some happy thoughts.

Legit... Are you asking generally about Mike Francese, or something specific he says in the interview? (I crossed paths with him and some crew years ago - on opposite end of the spectrum, when he was running his gas distribution gig)@antisocialist Re:

He seemed on the square to me.
I was wondering if you had known him.
That gas thing was genius, imo.

Federal tax on bulk purchase, through special connections (Ruskies...😎), then able to distribute for a lower cost directly to Gas Stations, that in turn made a larger profit through buying from him.Hey FBA @antisocialist, sorry I'm so late getting back with you; I've not been on here every day lately. Yeah... Basically, Michael F. was mostly just avoiding

Generally, station owners only made a few cents profit per gallon sold at the time, and not much better now - from what I hear. The bulk of profit from sales goes to the Big Oil Companies and Government...

One problem was the fill station owners under contract with major suppliers like Shell, Mobile, BP etc. that mandated their own brand be bought and sold exclusively. Therefore, owners of non-independent stations could only buy the cheaper bootleg gas in smaller quantities, because they still had to order at least some deliveries from major oil companies in an attempt to thwart suspicion. Otherwise, Mike would have been making even bigger money than the boatloads he made.

Problem was, as the major suppliers began seeing their sales dropping off on a steady basis, they knew something was amiss. They began independent investigations finding pump sales tabulators showing higher volumes than what their trucks actually delivered... They took pump samples for analysis and snuck photos of independent tankers making deliveries - for example.

Some gas stations had the oil companies come in and remove all their signage from the premises under contract. Other stations actually had their leased pumps removed and/or Company owned tanks, ripped right out of the ground.

Off course they got the Feds involved...

The Agents eventually compiled enough evidence to indict Francese, thus unfortunately ending his rather lucrative, private enterprise.

It's only too bad (IMO), that we the consumer always paid the same high pump prices, regardless of who was supplying the fuel... unless of course you could get a direct fill-up from one of the tanker drivers who were skimming a little off deliveries, as a side business...😏

All these years later, I can't say how I know so much about the details of what went on at the time, because it might still be a little dangerous. I don't want ghosts of the past showing up at my door...!!!

I had to take some time away, too.

Sounds like that guy did it right.
Tax evasion is just the 'murican way, iyam.

You're safe @por500bolos... You're too far away for my arrows to reach...😏
