On the road

It's been a few weeks since I went into the office. The only thing it proves is that I don't actually have to go into the office to be productive.

We still have to come into the office every Tuesday and even though it has been three weeks, I'm as pissed as ever about having to go in. I get minimal to zero support in the office and have to deal with socializing with colleagues instead.

Anyway,in the past couple of weeks, I've hardly moved away from my house area, so I guess it's nice to be outside. It doesn't really feel nice but I'm just saying it because that's the right thing to say in this situation.

So I'll be riding the train again today. It's something I cannot ever enjoy even though people make it seem like a luxury. Bring back horses and chariots please.

Work has been good in the past couple of weeks. I'm in a sales adjacent role, so my performance is all about my stats. I've been hosting coaching sessions with my colleagues to help them improve but that's only once in a while.

I'd like to take on training and development on a permanent basis. That'll be sometime in the future and if I keep working towards it, I'll get there.

I don't exactly feel good about leaving home today though. My wife has not been feeling well for a while now, so I'd rather be home than be out on the road.

Well, in our and about trying to make something out of the day. Fingers crossed.

Being home with the family is definitely a better thing compared to going into the office. I do appreciate the office setting in the right circumstances but once a month is better than once a week.
