I’ve been here before, done this before.
Tried to work up the courage to walk through those doors many times before.
But couldn’t do it this time.
I’ve only ever gone inside once, and that was only because one of my exes made so much fun of me for never having gone in there before.
So after I broke up with her, the first thing I did was go in.
Fuck it.
And fuck her, too.
Deja vu.
I’ve been here before.
I was driving under the influence and had an open beer in the console when the state trooper pulled me over.
He didn’t notice, and I walked free.
Pigs will be pigs.
They’re easy to manipulate.
All you have to do is learn how to tell a lie better than them.

I wonder how she’s doing.
I passed out in a cheap motel room down in the big city the other day.
Sixty bucks for shelter, shower, a decent bed, and quiet.
Hard to find that much basic luxury for only sixty bucks these days.
I think I’ll try again next week.
