Sadly people are quite nasty in their obsession to hate and fight other people. I think it’s unfortunately both sides of the strangely two-sided aisle.
With the recent exposures of USAID - this stuff is quite likely the result of many years of social engineering and gets pretty nasty pretty quick! It’s pretty scary thinking of where this ends up long term.
I think it’s important to understand that these keyboard warriors are not worth the time or breath. I would personally just block them and move on, let them scream into their miserable echo chambers.
Oh of course, there are guilty people on either side. I have seen people on the conservative side advocate for MAiD (medical assistance in dying? I believe) for anyone they don't agree with.
And I completely agree, I would be inclined to Block and be on my way (I have Blocked the two who have come onto my personal profile because that doesn't need to be tolerated). But I created the group for a reason, after wrongfully being Banned from the largest community group. I'm a very stubborn, prideful person, I strongly believe in standing by my morals.
Granted I'm probably way more lenient than I need to be, but this group has been a great lesson in character development 😂
