Commoditized medicine—in the US, for example, medical care isn't available to everyone, only private insurance policy holders. State sponsored insurance is a joke and even it's not free. They'll turn around a diabetic in need of insulin at the pharmacy if they don't have money. When health or life and death is overshadowed by a price tag, it's commoditized. Commoditized medicine.
