I'm sorry you have to go through this, must be difficult, especially because it's about your parents and family. Only you can decide what to do, so I'm not going to say anything about that and I hope it's going to end soon and well.
I was wondering if you have had such moments in your life, where you had to testify, and choose whether or not to do so, against someone close to you, for the benefit of someone else.
I was close to be called as a witness in a very ugly case (fraud, forgery), but was able to avoid it, thank God!
Thanks you ! Yeah, this is a pretty bad situation, but as they're not living together since few years, there almost no chance they meet in real life, so no risk of more problems. Generally, I'm a person of the middle way and I was thinking to testify for and against neither one or the other... Time will tell !
Glad you avoid that as well ! This is really a pain. When you're honest, the confrontation with the justice is really not pleasant nor a good time to say the least !

Testifying is never a pleasant thing, but you have to tell the truth. Maybe there's a way in your case, to stay neutral, I don't know. I hope it ends soon.

Definitely ! From experience, I realized that lying had never been an option for me, it must not be part of my genetic code or functioning !
