Man, chicken pox sucks; but I guess that's better than monkey pox.
I had chicken pox when I was about 12. I still have some marks on my face and back. It healed well for the most part, though.

Here in Venezuela people usually use a bush we call chinchamuchina or sanguinaria to treat chicken pox and other skin diseases.
I remember using some oitments, but mostly home remedies.
I am even lucky mine happened in this season of the year. It is not really that hot. If not....
Yeeah usually the home remedies work magic.
