I think the final question there (interesting article, btw) also ties into the way in which you are smart/talented, since not all sectors will reward your skill and intelligence equally. But I agree about investing in the things that are important to you, rather than the ones that equate commercial success. At least for me. :)

I believe in that too. I think commercial success is cool but what truly fills our life and soul is the things we do.
It's probably wild to say but there are people that feels a sense of accomplishment by doing morally questionable things. They do it not because they need the money but that's what fills their soul.
