... you won't remember all my random problems

Good day everyone. Maybe you are wondering why I was away on this platform for almost two weeks: no interaction, no blog published, and nowhere to be found. The previous weeks have been a bit hectic for me. Maybe you thought if it is because of my excuses for my exams as a studious a$$hole. Well, we'll only take it in the next two weeks. If you thought that I suddenly lost my interest in writing, it is something that I won't ever do. Sorry if I didn't make engagements or publish anything because of these reasons:

Cough and Cold

Two weeks ago, I experienced a massive headache since I went to school without sleep and let myself be exposed to the drizzle. After my first class, I complained about my headache and asked my friends if they had paracetamol during lunch. I still can't forget how I sacrificed eight hours of sleep for my one major, which didn't happen. Luckily, my classmate offered her extra paracetamol since I initially thought I would get a fever. It helped alleviate my feelings, but I got a cough and cold the next day.

That moment was incredibly challenging for me as I had a lot of tasks on hand, but I was struggling with a runny nose and a terrible cough. Imagine you are doing an activity for school activities or doing a blog, and your nose will release some water. I tried using water therapy to alleviate the symptoms, but it wasn't enough. I spent $2 for my inhaler and medicine to medicate my illness, and I'm okay. Thankfully, I started feeling better after taking the medication and could manage my responsibilities effectively.

Personal Collection Quota

Last Wednesday, two weeks ago, one of the heads of Personal Collection oriented us about our course requirement on Professional Salesmanship (MKT 005). Given that our program is focused on the various aspects of marketing, it's understandable why we need to sell products, sketch marketing strategies, and develop innovative products. Please understand that during this period, my primary focus will be on excelling in my studies and meeting the demands of the marketing program.

Ma'am Luz oriented us about our quota, earning potential, terms and conditions, and anything we would expect on Personal Collection. Based on the orientation, we will get a 25% commission from all the products we sell and need to make P2,500 gross revenue. We thought the quota was applicable for the whole semester, and we're surprised that we need to make P2,500 gross revenue for the first week. P2,500 is our gross revenue target this semester, but we already need to order worth P2,500 from the first week.

Another problem we handled was when she didn't let us use the bundle offered. It caused a lot of backlash from my classmates in our group chat, and even my professor ranted when she didn't let us sell directly in San Jose Branch. It's evident that she's the only one who will avail the bundle that she oriented instead of us. Anyway, I already got the quota. However, I'm struggling with how to sell the Glutalight I purchased from my aunts since I got to buy the bundle. I was problematic about how I would settle my payment, but good thing that I've come up with a solution.

Redmi Note 10 Battery Replacement

IMG_20230728_221251.jpg

Last Friday, I noticed a concerning issue with my phone: it would rapidly drain from 100% to 50% every minute. It made me a bit cautious, so I immediately surfed to the interest to research the possible solutions. I attempted various battery-saving techniques and even went so far as to factory reset my phone (after backing up all my data). Unfortunately, these measures didn't resolve the issue.

I've also contacted some of my friends about the battery replacement, and they said that it would cost me more than $20. Considering our town's official Xiaomi service center was quite far away, I contacted the brand's customer support directly via email. I asked them how much will I pay for the battery replacement, and the payment fees did not prepare me. Aside from the battery alone, I must also pay the repair and shipping fee.

Despite my concerns being raised late, I must acknowledge that the brand's customer support was responsive. Upon calculating the estimated expenses, I was taken aback to learn that I would have to pay around P1,340 - P1,740 or $24.522 - $31.842. This amount wasn't confirmed yet, and I felt disheartened as my phone was no longer under warranty. Within days of overthinking, I considered not replacing my battery since I was planning to create an upgrade.

Conclusion

Anyway, that is just a sneak peek of my problems. Good thing I was able to solve them even if it affected my overall week. Apologies for being inactive!
