RE: Inflation woes, coping with increasing prices.

This problem is prevalent in a first world country like Canada too. Those in the lowest strata in standard of living suffer the most as Social assistance funds from the Government only increase around 2% rather by the real inflation numbers. More middle class are falling behind especially with mortgage and consumer debt driven by higher interest rates.
This has already manifested in significantly higher demand on food banks.
One community based plan is that my Church may begin communal bulk purchasing to save by volume. Voluntary pooling of resources should things get bad.

As food becomes more expensive with less options, there will be an increase in crime.
We have to be creative and flexible with our resources and to prepare the best we can.

That's too bad.

And it is this same government that are shouting end crime but they are not ready to take the right steps.

Even though the masses do not get to live a luxurious lifestyle, how about everyday feeding because that is really important.

May God help us all.
