Around 2:00 PM today, the network service on my phone went off. So bad that I no longer have another network service on my phone. I used to have multiple networks, but the other ones are no longer working. My phone was rendered useless at that moment because it was the internet connection I needed to complete my tasks for the day.
I am currently running a writing streak with a friend, where at the end of the day, whoever fails to meet up pays a fine to the person who does.
At that moment, I decided to dump my phone and attend to other work, hoping that by the time I was done, the network might have been restored. I worked for about two hours, and upon returning to my phone, the network was still not restored. That was when I realized I had to improvise; otherwise, I might end up paying the fine.
The worst part was that I had not even received the prompt to write on. If I had, I could have used the downtime to draft everything and post it once the network was restored.
After much thought, I decided to come up with a rant instead of waiting to get the network to log in and check for prompts in the various communities.
At the time of drafting this, the network was still dead. I was just writing, hoping to find a way to post it before the end of the day—either by begging someone to connect me to WiFi or by strolling down to a lounge near my house to use their Starlink network.
Even before I decided to write this rant, I tried watching a movie on my phone, but it just did not work. My mind was too focused on the task ahead, and I was not ready to be the first loser since my friend and I started this streak journey—or competition, as you may call it.
Let me stop here and go find a way to publish this.
Okay, network was restored around 7:00pm
Thanks for reading.

Was it only your phone or it happened to various persons around you. Mtn usually does does that a lot here in Lagos. You will not have any form of network for hours.
Airtel is copying them too. Two days ago, for almost three hours, there was no network. It was very annoying
