This makes me smile because our initial idea of the Narrowboat was from 14 years ago when I was living in the Netherlands. I'd just started dating Cameron and when he came to visit me in Leiden, I told him that my big dream was to live on a boat (dutch barge) in Amsterdam or anywhere in the Netherlands.
He then told me to look up the UK's version called narrowboats. I was surprised, because all my years visiting London, I never heard of anything like it.
The range of narrowboats available is amazing. All individually designed and decorated.
