RE: You Made It! .:. Walk & Talk Series

Hahaha ... Very good, @ph1102:

"... when he was in the "full-teenage" mode ..."

That is a one clear, succinct way to capture it.

"The problem is that many people STAY at that age ..."

Very sad, but unmistakably true, for far too many. Fundamental to this fallacy is the failure to fully grasp and truly understand the vital importance of work. And hard work at that. Pretending like you can continue on with rejecting responsibility is to consciously choose to ignore the obvious fact the SOMEONE is doing this FOR YOU!!

Not okay ... It never has been and it will never be. It is only a matter of the time it takes to get this settled. The longer we carry these people, in a family setting, or society, in a broader setting, the higher the cost.

To all of us.

"Maybe they look like they are not listening while they are kids, but it is written somewhere in the back of the brain ..."

It is very good, @ph1102, that you can say this. I agree most of us eventually "wake up!" at least to one degree or another. Blessed is the day when our children come home and talk to us in a manner which, in unmistakably clear language, indicates they have finally grown up.
