I am worried
Although my time on here has been short, I have started seeing a worrying trend in many post. Many post I am seeing are grouping pedophiles with the LGBTQ+ and pride events. I feel like I can speak for every sane person in the LGBTQ+ for this. We want nothing to do with pedophiles. Comparing people that are not harming anyone, to the type of people that harm the most is insulting and ignorant. We are just after equal rights. I am not saying that LGBTQ+ stuff needs to be everywhere, but don't spread misinformation about us. We want nothing to do with pedophiles.
Sadly, there is a large nest of conspiracy theorists here. They are best ignored
How did these two get mixed up in the same place? Firstly, no sane person will be making the two things up, and I emphasize the word sane
I believe in YOLO very much but pedophiles are the lowest of the low.
Adults can do what they want in the privacy of their home or hotel. Where I have an issue is trying to “teach” kids about something that is not normal. Stay the fuck away from kids is my concern. Humanity has existed for tens of thousands of years and children need to be left alone to grow up without intentional alteration against how the species has survived. If a little girl has an affinity for playing in the dirt or trucks or building things in the mud, let her be and she may grow up to be a lesbian but she may very well grow out of it and become a woman who just likes those things but is heterosexual. Similar with boys that play with dolls. Both situations though, leave them the FUCK alone, do not push any bullshit on them. As long as they are not physically dangering themselves, we need to make sure they can do what they prefer, with guidance.
I don’t think many people have an issue with the LGB group, it’s where it’s gone off the rails and become deranged with trans, non-binary, pronouns, gendering and all the other fucking madness, the TQ+ ad nauseum. It comes back to, again, you are an adult, you do what you wish in the privacy of your home but do not force me or others to enable it by thinking a biological male is now a woman on a whim. I don’t have any problem with someone who keeps their belief to themselves, but don’t shove it in my face and make me affirm your belief or identity. A man will not be a woman.
This always seems to be the same argument.
We are not trying to convert kids to anything. People are born the way they are born. If that's gay then ok. If it's straight then ok. Trans? Ok. At most, we just want resources to be available. A child shouldn't have to grow up being shamed and told they are evil just for existing.
The thousand of years argument isn't really valid either. There have always been LGBTQ+ people. Certain time periods just hushed everything, and/or killed us in some way. Do a little research.
