"You guys don't ever stop, do you?'. We have heard this before. It's normal for us. Because our minds work fast, well, that energy has to go somewhere. It means we get a lot done, but it also means our nervous systems get frazzled and we can end up exhausted. So yes, we do stop. We stay in bed having a cuppa. We crave our little spots of time to read, to relax in the sunshine. That's all part of our doing, too.
This week has been a big one and it's not even the weekend. We drove - twice - to the other side of Melbourne to look at, and pick up, a vintage Land Rover. I'm pleased to report hips made it without hurting. Progress!
Every day has begun with a surf this week too. This morning was particularly fun on the SUP. It was a decent size and clean and I certainly got a cardio workout out carving down the line - so fun. Then it was Aldi and the food is free shop for groceries. We are getting pretty low on cash so I have to supplement the food budget somehow. Yeah yeah we shouldn't have bought a project car, but we have had that cash set aside for a year for that purpose.
I also picked up two chicks from a guy down the coast. That was kinda weird as he implied he knew me from a drunken night out. Awkward. I felt pretty uncomfortable actually as even if that did happen it would be over 35 years ago and I definitely didn't need reminding. Needless to say I didn't accept his Facebook friend request. Lonely old men, I guess.
I have also been trying to reach myself how to use Da Vinci Resolve so I can do a YouTube of the Land Rover work. Deep Speak has been amazing in tutoring me and answering any questions when I hit roadblocks. It's quite the challenge, not least that you need a narrative to drive the film.
I've also finally designed the sticker for the Defender, after having received the drawing off a guy in Taiwan that does car designs. I'll share this more when I receive it.
Then if course there's the garden - I'm pretty obsessed with the 'hour a day rule' and this time of year, coming into Autumn, there's a lot to do. I'm trying to use as much produce as I can without buying veggies which is working so far. I've also discovered that adding whole zucchini to the bunch of silverbeet makes for a creamier palak paneer without adding yoghurt or coconut cream, and sweeter too to counter the bitterness of the silverbeet where I'd usually add some honey.
Then of course there's the washing to do and the house to keep tidy. How do people find the time to work? And
Or perhaps that's where I get a rest, going to work. Else, perhaps, following my own advice and going to have a chill on the front deck in the sunshine.
With Love,

My goodness, you are a busy one. I think it will be really interesting to see how the LR comes along as you restore it. That was awkward and inapporpriate of the guy to mention that, and kinda weird too. Anyway, we are waiting for spring here, and can't wait to plant a small little potted garden on our patio. Having fresh veggies is always nice.
Oh no!! Deep Sxxt!! Hubby says Perplexity and Gemini are the best. Try them out sometime.
I will. I don't like Google so Gemini - meh. Google destroyed the internet imo. I don't see an issue with Deep Seek - it's all just the cold war again but with AI. I don't trust any of them strictly speaking haha.
Great job!

While these types of weeks are tiring they are also very good at least for me! It feels good to get a lot of things accomplished!
