Yeah it is Plus accounts only. Supposedly they will be making some of the custom models available for free use but not yet. So yeah no free version.
I have been looking into building another one that is not on their platform... but nothing really compares to what they offer at the moment.

I do play around with Midjourney a bit and utilise Chat GPT for heaps of things but it kinda feels wrong in this case.
I have not done anything with Midjourney yet. Gonna have to see what it can do. I have 'been in deep' with ChatGPT since the beta and it sure is handy!
I know what ya mean there. Having a living artist do something like that really means something.
This is a great example of people wanting a logo designed by a person.
AI artwork as a tool is okay, I guess.
For someone who is using it to achieve their own vision, as a tool.
It can be great for making memes and things, but I think people still want art and design from other people.
The interesting part will be someone posing as a designer while outsourcing the design to AI which requires some skill to do well, so technically still valid.
By the way, did you ever get your design? I might give it a try if you haven't.
