Brilliant rant there mate. I am glad that the group provides a vehicle for your discontent. I reckon there's a lot of joy in NOT proofreading and just saying what's up. I used to spend hours on posts, but I realised it didn't matter much, unless I'm doing some analysis or more academic piece.
I didn't realise you couldn't trade HIVE where you are! That sucks! Is there any way you can get it to a trusted person in another state that can then send you the FIAT?
Some weeks you don't post, whatever. Don't feel obligated. Just do it when the mood takes you. Just know you are valuable - HIVE does need you - so a little bit of guilt doesn't go too astray :P

I could trade HIVE for BTC through a 3rd party, and trade that BTC for fiat. As I stated, though, I don't really need the money right now, and I'm not sure what kind of watchdog radar that would put me on. For now, I'll just keep leveling up.
It's not so much that I feel obligated, I just sometimes get frustrated about having to police my own thoughts to do things I actually want to do. I appreciate the flattery, but Hive certainly doesn't NEED me. I do get the feeling though that more than a few here like having me around, and I'm thrilled if we can help each other.
