About two years ago I set out for my mandatory one year service in my country. Long story short, I got deployed to a seminary and had one of the best years of my life. After about ten months, I finally got leave off work for a week and there was no place I thought of spending it more than to return to my home.
I know I sound like a broken record now, but the past few weeks have not been particularly fun, but I've come to make peace with the idea that it would take some time and work to get to where I want to be, but we'd get there eventually. It's never really about the destination but mostly about the journey, the process. I've taken a lot of responsibilities too, and I've tried to live up to them. I've fallen, and I've tried to get up every single time. I have decided to come and make myself one with nature. I also had the intention of doing a personal retreat session. This would help me unwind and also try and get some much needed clarity.
I arrived to meet the lads going at it on the playing field. I had an amazing view, and also had a bit of time to play and let off some steam. Should be out of here by Friday and back to work by Monday. PS, shoot me a message if you want me to do a prayer for you too. π Thank you for reading. Cheers
Mandatory service, as in conscription into the military?
Have you some fun, rest and recharge my friend.
Not the military π , but I wouldn't mind.
Thank you very much colonel.
Had a great time.
Heading back now
