yeah, you're right.
We all have different possibilities to overcome a trauma and either to be stronger or just to be destroyed inside. Are psychologists popular in your place? For a long time here they were considered to be "something unnecessary and stupid", and it was shameful to visit them. Now the situation has changed. Now there is a great trend for psychology, and it's even fashionable to have your own psycho doctor.

So I think that’s good for a very SMALL group of people but for the larger population - I think it’s incredibly damaging and bad to do this en masse.
We know ourselves the best and we are our greatest ally and greatest enemy. If we have entire generations not having the confidence or the ability to think for themselves and go through challenges and hardships by figuring things out on their own then they are going to be a far worse off generation.
There are limits to this of course. People who have been raped, molested, seen someone get killed or killed someone by accident, people who have had REAL trauma they are absolutely best helped through it by a professional.
The issue is so many people are so fucking pathetic that they need to talk to a therapist about how they backed their car into a light pole and got stressed out about it. This is the stuff that is utterly pathetic and the big issue we have. People have grown so accustomed to OTHER people helping them with everything it’s really sad and not good.
It’s another example of delegating responsibility out to someone else that we need to keep for ourselves.
