Diss Tracks for SB19 Haters... are so entertaining! XD

Rage baiting is a common thing in social media nowadays. A lot of "influencers" who want to get more traffic into their accounts and pages sometimes use it. It's just funny to see all the drama and desperation.

I don't really react to these things, but I kind of enjoy reading the comments. It's like watching a movie in written form... all that's lacking is a bag of popcorn and a can of soda.

Recently, in the Philippines, P-pop has been rising, but not everyone accepts it. Many call it a carbon copy of K-pop which doesn't really make sense. Pop is a common genre of music that doesn't only exist in Korea. xD It's one of the negative things about Filipino culture. Some people just couldn't get rid of their "crab mentality".

Why is it so hard to be happy for someone who's succeeding? If you're not happy, then just do nothing... there isn't a need to pull them down just because you disapprove of them, is there? Oh well, negative publicity is still publicity... so desperate people try to hang on to that.

Anyway, I may sound biased since I like this group that I'm going to talk about... but please hear me out. (lol)
I just want to share these fun diss tracks that SB19 fans made for the haters and people who tried to attack the boys.

TD;LR:

One of SB19's members won an award in a HipHop category as a solo artist and one influencer made a video protesting it because he's a P-pop artist and that he didn't deserve the award. He said HipHop should be "geng-geng" (it's a term used to describe people who label themselves as gangsters)...

This was the song that won the award, BTW...

So, the influencer doesn't consider this HipHop because it's not like the usual "geng-geng hiphop" he's used to listening. And because of what he did, fans of SB19 decided to clap back... and instead of being aggressive, one made a full album addressing the issue. xD

The song is so entertaining. It's in Tagalog, but the message of the song is factual in the funniest way. It's dissing the person who said that hiphop should be "geng-geng". The lyrics pointed out how the hater believed when the song has sense and doesn't curse, it won't be considered Hiphop... and that if the singer looks gorgeous and good-smelling, they're not allowed to sing Hiphop.

I love how satirical the song is. It's so clever! Then they also went on dissing the haters interestingly and creatively. lol

This fan actually uploaded a whole album for the haters, as well as songs for SB19. It's great in a way because fans are doing the same thing as their idols. SB19 also has some diss tracks for their haters. They don't address them directly and/or in a chaotic way. Instead, they make songs about them... two of my favorites are MANA and KALAKAL.

Apart from this issue, a Hiphop artist who's trying to make a comeback released a diss rap against the current hiphop community including SB19... and guess what happened? Let me just share here...

The first video has an English translation and the second one is done in English. Waaaa... Aykenaaaat! It's so fun. Maybe because I'm also an SB19 fan, but these are really creative ways of clapping back to haters!

I really had fun today because of these... special thanks to CASUAL CHUCK on YouTube for making videos about this. I enjoyed it a lot. xDDD

Who would have thought that diss tracks could be this entertaining? But in the end of the day, I'd follow what SB19 always reminds their fans... "Always choose to be kind" and "The best way to counter hate is to succeed!".

I stan the right group! The fandom may called a "cult" or a group of "weirdos", I don't really care. I'm already aware that I'm a weirdo (even before meeting SB19) and I'm proud of it. :)

Sorry for my randomness... thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/
