My Short Christmas Break is Over... T_T

I don't want to go back to work tomorrow!!! hahahuhu

But, I have to because my main job is the "no work no pay" type. And missing a lot of days at work wouldn't help me pay the bills and other stuff. I do enjoy doing it, though. However, it's just so difficult to get yourself into work mode again after a few days of not working.

Last Saturday, December 21, we said our last goodbye to my uncle who sadly passed away. Then, I had to work just 3 hours last Sunday and had one class on Monday morning. I didn't open any classes for my main job because I had to help my mom prepare some dishes that our family and some friends would share for Christmas. (My mom would be posting lots of recipes in the coming days! so check out her account, @arashi0416).

Then, my high school friend messaged me on Sunday that her son's christening would be held on the morning of the 24th. Baby Elijah is so cute and his parents are my close friends. I initially told them that I'd only go to the ceremony and not the party, however, they insisted I go with my cousins who are also visiting my place to spend Christmas as always.

I'm not a fan of parties, but they said only their family and really close friends were coming... so, I finally decided to go. I missed their wedding party last time, so Jee (the husband) jokingly complained about my absence during the party. (I attended the wedding ceremony, though.)

Guests were queueing to get some food... :)

It was fun spending time with my close high school buddies. It's almost like a miracle for me to come, so they're happy. I actually missed our high school reunion earlier this month even though they kept on convincing me. I just don't feel comfortable being with people I'm not close with. So, we plan to just have a small get-together with just us. I love and truly appreciate them for understanding my introversion.

My best friend and his family who also went to the party took me and my cousins home. They spent the afternoon in our place... just eating (again) and talking.

In the evening, my cousins and I did our usual tradition. I don't know when it started exactly, but we always watch some horror films on Christmas Eve. It's always a fun bonding time for us. My aunt watched with us, too... but my mom isn't a fan of horror. haha Anyway, we had an anime movie marathon the next evening, so my mom could enjoy it with us. <3

Our area was so calm and quiet on Christmas day. I think people were tired from partying the night before. My father, cousin, aunt, and I walked to the market near our place. It's around 15 minutes away on foot from our house. We bought some ingredients because we're cooking some food for them to take back home.

My other aunt also requested me to make some banana cake, so I made some for her as well. Christmas day was also full of cooking, eating, and hanging around at home with my loved ones.

If we're not busy, we'd just play some mobile games together or do other activities. Spending time with them is always fun regardless of the activity.

They had to go home today, though. One of my cousins is going to have a school-related activity tomorrow and the other one has two cats waiting at home. I miss them already!!! I can't wait to spend time with them again... and ohh, one of them is starting to blog here soon, too... She's @adamsale, but she's yet to make her introduction. :)

It's my first time turning on my PC since Monday. I haven't written any posts either because I was enjoying my time with them. It's over now, though.... WAAAAAAAAAAA.... I still want to spend more time with them!!!! T_T

Reality is knocking on my door. XD
I have a full schedule from tomorrow. T_T
I don't wanna work!!! hahaha But I have to... My students are waiting for me... <3

Anyway, I'll only be working for 4 days, then take some time off on the 31st and January 1st. Sadly, my cousins wouldn't be at our place, but I'd get to spend time with my parents and our furbaby Arashi. <3

I'll work hard in the coming days!!! Bring it on!!!! (^^,)/
