SNAPPING is FUN!!! <3

The word snapping has several meanings. It can refer to suddenly becoming irritable or angry with someone. Additionally, it can describe the act of something breaking suddenly, such as a tree branch or a rope. There is also another meaning related to taking photographs... and the list goes on.

Snaps.
The snapping in my title actually refers to @peakd's version of X,

Here's a photo of the sunrise I snapped from the hotel's lobby where my bestie stayed last time.

I'm just overwhelmed with joy every time I'm there. It's a great place to engage with people and talk about a variety of things. Although working from home, I sometimes don't have enough time to sit down and read long blogs on HIVE. However, reading short posts and having conversations in Snaps is much easier. I can even insert doing so during my 5-minute break after each class.

What I like most is not just the system but the people there. Of course, I don't get to talk to everyone, but I've found friends with whom I frequently exchange messages. They're so welcoming, thoughtful, and kind.

I've talked to a number of Brazilian "Snappers" who are so encouraging that it made me want to learn Portuguese... and guess what? I actually added it to my "Duolingo" exercises, alongside Spanish and Japanese. Of course, we can always communicate in English, but I think learning a country's language allows you to understand the people and the culture more. It's not a must-thing to do, so I can take my time learning these languages. Some Brazilian Snappers even offered to help! (Shoutout to @wiseagent and @vempromundo) I just love how friendly, thoughtful and generous they are! <3

Another amazing thing about Snaps is that... you don't only enjoy the engagement, but you're even rewarded! Isn't that amazing?

To be honest, posting or blogging is an extra income for me. Life isn't easy, especially financially, but we have to find ways to survive. So, getting these rewards means a lot! I always say that the rewards I get here are just a bonus, and I still think the same until now.

The sense of belongingness, being able to find amazing friends from all over the world, being able to share my thoughts and the things I enjoy in a blog... all these are the main reasons why I continue my journey on HIVE. And now, I have another reason, the fun and enjoyment I found in SNAPS!

"It's not always about speed, it's about the final destination.". Now, I'm more than eager to continue moving forward to reach my goals.

There's always a place for everyone, and I found my place in Snaps. <3
If you haven't tried it yet, then do so... let's all enjoy and be each other's inspiration!
I also found many people in SNAPS who encourage others to power up and set goals. I used to power down a lot because of financial constraints, and of course, there's nothing wrong with that. However, I'll try my hardest not to do so as much as possible. I'm slowly growing my account... @shiftrox, who I met in Snaps, even powered up 10 HP to me. He's among the amazing and motivating friends I met there! His dedication to this platform is truly awesome, so I respect him a lot. Slow progress is still progress. As @wiseagent said in one of our conversations in Snaps,

The moon last night. I took it using my phone, so it's crappy. haha

Thanks for reading and see you around! (^^,)/ Have a good one!

Snaps really is an incredible place, a lot of the things you described here I also feel, like meeting really nice and inspiring people! I'm very happy that we've inspired each other, because I've also loved making new friends like yours, it's rewarding, lots of new things, different cultures, there are many, many things to learn!

Brazilian people are like that, we like to make friends, to be captivating in people's lives and we share many difficulties too, especially financial ones, so we know how important it is to have an outstretched hand to be able to help, talk and support each other.

I hope this friendship lasts for many, many years and that we can all be like one big family! A big hug!

Sim~! Concordo com você. :)
It's a great way to explore and learn various culture... and witness a lot of amazing places through photos people share.. :)

I noticed that! You guys are so easy to get along with because of how friendly you are! ^^ We got each other's backs! :D

Me too!!! Let's make that happen! ^^ Big hug back!
(^^,)/

It's very rewarding to see non-Brazilians interacting with us. Language is usually a barrier and, as it is one of the most difficult languages, few people are interested in it. Come join our Discord and share Hive with us.

You guys have been so kind and friendly, so I'm having lots of fun! :)
It's interesting to learn new languages especially those spoken by my friends. :)
I seldom use Discord, but it would be awesome to join. ^^

I’m glad that you’ve found a lot of enjoyment in the snaps feature’ it’s great for sure, because short form stuff is nice for quick breaks. It’s good to read posts and things like that but if you’ve only got 6 or 7 mins, a few snaps is great to pass the time!

Thank you!!! Yes, it's an amazing place to hang around... But when I have more time, I visit posts that catch my attention... ✨😁
