A name is very important to be found out among all. We all have one or more and nothing wrong with it. We often are given a nick or a pet ones unlike the writers who take their own. Yet we should not mind taking a new name! By whatever name we call a rose, it never stop realising its fragrance. 😆😆Still I have a say here! It may not be fair or easy for all. Let me give a few examples and facts.

Let me take a fictional chracter first. There is a chracter called Gopal Var. He is known for intelligence. His son wears the same boots. Once when he was a kid, he was asked to call his father(Gopal) from the market. He went there and started calling his father by his name... Gopal ..o gopal. people knew him and so they asked him why he was calling his father by his name. He replied that there were many fathers in the market and how his father would understand who was calling! So calling his father by his name was right move, he added. It is funny in fiction.
Now time for a real one. We used to play cricket a lot in childhood. We had brother who is quite elder than others. We had to obeyed him. If we were not serious in game ,he rebuked us. Once we were fielding in a cricket match and guess what happen he asked us to leave the field one by one as we were not playing it seriouly. Beleive be he removed all of us and even the wicket keeper.lol Now he was all alone to ball, to keep and to field ..hahah... There were many incidents like this. We started calling hin HANU DA. It means Boss-type. Not a bad nick name..haha. No problem with that. The funny part is that once his mother asked me if I saw HANU DA anywhere. Lol She was calling him HANU DA. 😜😜 Hari hay dinobandu amro bandu baper o bandhu- means God is a frined of poor and he is a frined of mine and also of my father's.🥳 Name once given, no way to stop; everone will call you by the same, even your parents!
Now time for mine. Sometimes I have to address my father by Baroda which means big brother. Not in front of him though. My father build houses and my brother goes the same. My brother is known to the workers. Only a few knows me. When sometimes I go to the site with lunch box for my father, I have to address him by calling his nickname "Where is Baroda?" No choice; if I say where is my father? It won't work, they hardly know me. I thnik he doesn't know I do that to locate him. 😂 Lol
There are many other examples but I'll stop here. In childhood we all have one nickname. When we grow up, we become a little conscious and try not to call a not so close frind by a ridiculous name. If still we forgot, the opponents remind us.😆A nickname can really be worrisome, may be not for all. Yet we should call someone after looking around, it may heart.

Nicknames can certainly be a good or a bad thing. I think we all experience both sides of it in our lives. I know I’ve had my fair share of bad ones plus some good ones!
