PvP - ARENA
From here on out, we have decided to call the PvP part of the game as ARENA.
We have made good progress in this department in the last two months and here are some teasers for you all :
A player will need to select the tamer he/she wants to play with and then the mutee/s for the battle. Once selected, the player can choose in which league he/she wants to play in. The eligibility criteria for each league is different and more challenging as you go up the leagues.
As we get closer to the ARENA launch, more details will be released explaining how the battle mechanics between players work.
PvE - MUTERRA WORLD
Just like how we will be referring PVP part of the game as ARENA, we have decided to call PvE part of the game as MUTERRA WORLD from now onwards.
The following changes are live in MUTERRA WORLD -
- You can now withdraw a minimum of 0.5 MUT instead of 10 MUT. This change has been made to assist the upcoming MOLE MINER game which has been discussed below.
- Each tamer can withdraw MUT only once per 24 hours. This will restrict any kind of spam to HE.
- A maximum of 50 MUT can be withdrawn per day. This is another safeguard we have put into place.
We have been working on the release of 2 major features which are - capturing of mutees inside the game and mutee v/s mutee battles. Now it may sound like a simple update but its not. We will be doing mini-releases that will consist of the following updates -
- Dropping items - You will be able to drop items that you are carrying to pick up better items.
- Storing items - Players will be able to store items required for a particular recipe.
- Crafting - A cage is required to capture a wild mutee. And a player will need to craft a cage by giving the required quantity of specific items to the forge master. Its to be noted that cage is just one of the many items that players will be able to craft in the game.
- Mutee vs Mutee battle - Players will be asked to deposit their mutees in the game so that they can use them to fight wild mutees. Level of wild mutees, their HP and attack points will be set right and it will become very difficult to kill a wild mutee with just a tamer.
- Issuing wild mutee NFT - And finally when the above mentioned updates are released, we will enable capturing of mutees which technically means that you will be issued that NFT and you'll become the owner of that mutee.
Please keep in mind that the mini releases mentioned here have been over-simplified so that they make sense. There are a lot of other technicalities, for instance, population of mutees, which have been skipped to keep things understandable.
In the coming week we plan to release 2 features - dropping and storing of items.
MOLE MINER
We have a major announcement for everyone. A new MINI-GAME is being introduced to the MuTerra-verse : MOLE MINER.
The game is scheduled to release in July 2023, i.e., this month itself. More details on how to play this game will follow as we get closer to the release.
One may ask why we are coming up with a mini-game when the development of the main game is pending. The answer to this question has been addressed below -
- The first thing to keep in mind is that the development of the main game was not affected at all. We are just using our resources more effectively and efficiently.
- This mini-game will provide more utility to the assets of MuTerra as well as our token - MUT.
- Development of ARENA and MUTERRA WORLD is very time intensive and we needed something to engage our community in and keep things fun while we focus on pumping out updates for the main game. Mole Miner (and another mini-game) fulfils that role.
