I mentioned shepherd and shepherding in my post. The shepherd, as a metaphor for one who cares and who guides. I thought of you and how you care for this community... Of course, there is also the punitive side to the shepherd and almost full power over the flock. It doesn't fit here anymore.
I hope my poor English doesn't play tricks on me and something else comes through. I know you'll tell me if that happens...
So, once again it was fitting, once again we had a similarity of ideas, because you, in your post today are guiding participants, showing a path for them to follow when they want to post on #marketfriday.
You do very well, it's a great help for everyone to understand how broad the concept is and that they can basically write about anything. Because everything is for sale, one way or another. Some forms are more subtle but the pleasure remains to discover them.
Then the urge to read and have our say and support our colleagues in this challenge. Absolutely mandatory if we want this challenge to be true and to have life. More than that, but all the more true and valuable, you set the highest example of how it should be done. In fact, this is also your main obligation as initiator and moderator of the community and challenge. You understood this first and that's why #MarketFriday has been around for so many years and is still successful. Others didn't understand and their challenges died out, their communities are no longer alive.
I thank you for this and many more!
My post this week can be an example of how you can "beat the plains" but fall within the rules required by #marketfriday.
About Children, Creativity, Park, Family, Celebration, Rain...
And I keep watching this clip!! Ilenca is so darn precious! She is still running!! ❤️
Yes, she keeps running, a "Forrest Gump" of Romania, haha...
Haha! She is absolutely adorable!!
Hi, Dan! @bluemoon
Your English isn't bad at all, I know exactly what you meant with the shepherd. I even know what you meant that it doesn't fit anymore, meaning, I am not like that. :) I understand you. Honest. When I don't, I ask you and you explain further.
I had a post almost complete, but, there were so many new people saying they could not post because no food market. I just wanted to let them know that it doesn't have to be food, however, most of those people don't read my post, just drop a link and run. I am not sure what to do about that. I don't obligate anyone to read my post, but, one day, I am going to put something in there. Probably not, but, I think about it.
I have a hard time pushing supporting each other and making them understand. They don't even read this. They don't answer back when I tell some to drop the link and give directions and a link to click on! I still end up going there and doing their post as they work on it and I don't want to punish them, but, I need some cooperation for it to keep going. I am not about the money, but simply dropping the link helps. It shows also that people are doing something to make it work. Right? Or am I being ridiculous? I never worry about yours, you do so much to participate, but the ones that nobody knows? They need to mix in to make themselves known.
I knew it would be a commitment because it is not about the money (thank goodness!) it worked out okay for me. I am really quite honored that people like yourself are so dedicated in supporting the challenge. It truly warms my heart and I thank you very much. I never think twice if you don't/cannot post in it. Sometimes I don't. LOL
I am sure it is a wonderful post, Dan! @bluemoon Thank you!
#MarketFriday loves you!
I'm glad I said what I said correctly. I don't mean to say anything offensive to anyone, but especially to you. But I remain afraid that I may use the wrong word or expression or one whose meaning I do not understand. If somehow something offends me, I can, at most, not respond or comment. That's why I ask you once again to let me know if you find something badly said.
I know how hard it is to keep this challenge at this level and I know it is unpleasant to see that some participants do not understand the minimal obligation they have to read and respect the rules, to read and respect your recommendations. Unfortunately, a beginner has a harder time understanding what to do. I think you have to behave like a teacher, in time you realize who deserves help, and encouragement and who does not. I think you have to behave differently, maybe some people need that. I say my opinion as a friend, I do not know if it is good but I wish you would work less with this challenge.
Thanks again for the kind words, have a great weekend!
You are never offensive! Trust me.
I'm glad and thank you!
