Hi Denise!
I think I will relate to this soon
I don't mind saying that when she was taking this course, I didn't know. She was away at the University, never letting me know she was out rolling kayaks to learn before the course started.
I wonder how many hobbies like that my son will acquire without me knowing about it, but I hope he chooses one that is not so expensive, hehe
By the way, I love sleeping in hammocks. And it always reminds me of my childhood in my grandparents' beach house where we slept in a big corridor full of hammocks and were lulled by the sea breeze.
This is my contribution to this Market Friday.

Have a lovely Friday and a terrific weekend! 🤗
I am okay with her doing it now, although I still don't like the whitewater rapids. But, I can not protect here for life, even if I want to. The hobby is actually not that expensive as most people have extra kayaks and happily loan them out, My daughter has one now, but, she worked at school in the recreation club and earned money to buy one. They usually are able to get good discounts. As close as I am to my kids, we will never be informed of everything they are doing while they are in school. It gets too busy and they don't think of it as so very important a special phone call has to be made.
The hammocks sound very familiar. As there were nine of us kids, hammocks worked best at my grandmothers or out camping.
Thanks so much for participating!
#MarketFriday loves you!
I can understand that. They have so much to do in college that a phone call home to say they're going to do an extreme sport is the least they think about, hehe. But you're right, we can't protect them from everything, even if our mother instinct is what would like.
Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been in focus around here these days, too much to do with my son moving out in a couple of months.
And it's always a pleasure to participate in Market Friday.
Have a lovely week 🌸
