Hi, @obrisgold1 !! So glad to see you here at #MarketFriday! It is always interesting to see what is going on at the markets! I have to agree with you, the vendors have gotten ridiculous with the prices, it has become unaffordable to eat. I am familiar with the on day/off day but, that certainly makes it one more challenge for shopping. You better be nice to your girlfriend or she may never go to market for you again. :))
Do you think the trader will recognize you when you go back to the Market? I hope not. Yikes. I am not sure what we are going to do about higher prices. I went to the market last week and it cost almost twice as much as the last time I went. So disappointing to get less for the same money. Thank you so much for showing off this wonderful market!
I am so happy to see you posting in the #MarketFriday tag. It has been a constant challenge I am sure to come up with new material with so many businesses closed down and the fact that many people do not want to go into some of the crowded stores and Markets. In these times when COVID has made it challenging to put together a post, or even search out different locations, I can say with an optimistic attitude that #MarketFriday has survived the pandemic, thanks to all of you. Without your dedication to stretch what we call a market has been done successfully. Thank you! All of you! In doing so, we have discovered that we have added new dimension to the tag. As many have been staying closer to home, I have also discovered more and more about each of you and that has been pretty nice. I have to admit, with the platform broken into different communities and tags, we get to see the same people, more or less that join every week, so we get to know each other a little bit. The challenge points out our differences, but, then, it also shows many things our cultures share. When the day is done, it shows off how human we all are and how we basically all care about our families and others. We embrace each other as humans.
I love the experience of it all. I appreciate the love and support given to #MarketFriday! Thank you! Truly! Your participation adds a piece of your world, and I have to say, people are interested in is seeing it. This entire challenge has opened up the world to me and so many others. Thank you again for being a part of all this! I am so happy to see you here! I hope you have a fabulous day! Hive on!!

Thanks @dswigle for the encouragement. Am glad to be a member of this wonderful community, I will share lots of my experience from markets here.
And yes I do learn my lesson, I will not treat my girlfriend that way again I learnt my lessons now🤣
As for the trader I hope she doesn't recognize me when next I visit the market 🤣🙏 even if she does I will act like I don't know her🤣🤣
So the rice in goods isn't just only in my area? I was surprise when you said it happens over there too. But why is it so? Well anyways we will still survive 💪.
And also I appreciate you for giving me a breakdown on how to patiscipate in the community, and I do love your commitment.
Stay safe @dswigle❤️
Food prices are soaring around the world, due largely to the COVID-19 pandemic and climate change. This sadly comes at a time when millions of people are out of work and already struggling to afford essentials.
Economists say costs from rising gas prices, a spike in commodity prices, increased imports by China, heavy Midwest crop damage and other factors are all getting passed on to retail consumers.
It will take a while to dig out of this one. Yet, we will.
Yeah indeed for us to get over this one is really difficult but who says we can't? We will but it will definitely take time.
Over here in my country we are about going on a national lockdown due to the virus at stage iv😰 am just confused. When you e thought it was getting better and boom we enter another face of the virus.
Now schools will be shut down as well, and even our worship center😰. All is well. We shall pass this...
Yes. And yet, people don't wear masks? I haven't been out to eat in a year. I also work full time, so it is not like I am sitting home, with only making dinner as my job. :))
I am so adamant about keeping the virus out of my house.
