RE: FABRIC MARKET

in Market Friday3 years ago (edited)

What a wonderful shop!!! I love fabric shops and I think many of the bigger ones are like this. You are right, though! I do not mind waiting because it is worth the wait. The fabric is gorgeous, especially the specialty ones.

How fun that is to go. The one thing I loved is the shop is clean and well-spaced between the fabrics. No crowding, which is unusual in a fabric shop. I think since the pandemic, they wanted to have some space to move around, to keep it clean and sanitized. You really put this post together well, I cannot thank you enough for reading such a delightful post!

I send how to post to the market not for you, but, for anyone reading so they will know too!

I am amazed at the variety this shop has. It was very enjoyable to read. I appreciate it.

I have personally found there is always so much to learn about people, where they live, and how things are done in different parts of the world and I love hearing from you! For me, reaching out across the globe and learning about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, has been such a rewarding experience. You know how much I love gardens and even our gardens are different from place to place. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the rituals, festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... and what is normal for us? There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. We do differ in many ways, which makes us interesting and unique, but, there are many ways in which are so much alike.

It is very pleasant to contribute my grain of sand so that others know this side of the world and its peculiarities. Its markets, shops and the environment of a culture that has given me shelter in a country far from mine. I see with tourist eyes what many locals do not know sometimes appreciates and documenting with photos every space that my eyes can see is a pleasure for me.Receive a cordial greeting from this beautiful city where I live, Villahermosa Tabasco-Mexico.
