I agree with the language and the culture. It saddens me to see some of the younger generation stepping over it, eschewing what is their heritage. In the last ten years, I have watched a renewed interest in who they are and where they come from.
Once upon a time, people were more interested in blending in, and not standing out. I am happy to see that you can hold on to your heritage and be part of the crowd. (who wants to be part of that crowd anyway1? :) )
