That is one of the great things about these fields! The reason they have so many benches and picnic tables is so people can bring a picnic lunch, in fact, they encourage you to do so. The trucks have been added over the years for those who forget or would rather eat out.

The fields are always filled with green, even in the winter, although now it is so green, the sugar content is too high for one of my ponies to eat Thank you for such a lovely comment, Joan!

Only seen sunflower fields on large scale like this locally, mustard fields in Europe when in flower, colours here are stunning one can only imagine visiting in person.
