I often say that nature doesn't end up surprising me whenever we meet again, but the same applies to the remains of history which are still standing in the 21st century. Wish we would have such columns and pyramids in Romania! But it's no less impressive discovering them online, thanks to people like you :)

What a nice comment! I find it amazing to see these architecturally sound civilizations still standing all this time later! The research is still ongoing, trying to get clues on their life and where they disappeared to.
They have an interesting way of ruling, their life could depend on how well they played a game. That is bone-chilling to me!
Romania has so much history and natural beauty. We are so fortunate to have traveled so much and taken in the sights.
