Yay I am back to participate #marketfriday again, which was initiated by @dswigle!
Today I want to bring you to a little happy corner I spot in a grocer that I do not always visit. This grocer is Jaya Grocer in this mall called Damansara City Mall, which I love the short form of the name DC Mall! Hahahaha like Marvel DC right? Or Washington DC? Or Daniel Connie DC? 🤔 🤣
Anyway lame jokes aside... I want to highlight this plants corner that I absolutely love. Usually I do see grocers selling plants but this place is so deserted that the grocer is so clean and tidy and spacious so it became extra welcoming to me.
Okay they have all kinds of plants here. I think the variety range they offer is more than the usual grocers. I spotted flowering plants like roses.
There were also leafy plants.
Of course there has to be herbs plants since it is a grocer, right? So they sell basils, thyme, parsley and all.
I like these cute little succulents too! Was tempted to buy some but I held my horses.
Then there were these too,the caladium and the monstera family, I believe. These are one of many's favorite decorative plants at home especially bought during the lockdown.
There were also those freshly cut flowers for us to bring home to put into our vases. I used to very like flowers like these.
The price of it is a bit pricier than the local nurseries out there but they were not that expensive too. This is about USD5 or less.
Let me show you what I meant by a tidy and welcoming grocer.
One of my friends made a remark that we ladies in our 30s like to frequent grocer and it becomes our happy place. I laughed at it and thought to myself, how things have changed but why not? Hehehe🤣
If I were to have all the space to keep this plant babies and all the money, I would gladly bring them home, really! What a lovely sight seeing all of them, don't you think so?
Interesting, see the flowers for sale, the colors and various ,with the tropical season of fertile flowers. Thank you.
hahah yes I like to check them out one by one. yes, I am in a tropical country in Malaysia!
Thank you are welcome,
