That moment when you get confused as to which material to go for, in a store, filled with beautiful materials, this fabrics comes with different styles and form, we have the lace, the cord, the sequence,e.t.c

While I was still struggling to decide on which material to buy for a friends naming ceremony, a woman walked up to me and was asking, "which should I go for between the blue and the yellow fabric",The blue one cost #5000 per yard while the yellow coat #3500 per yard. I smiled cause I was thinking of how to beat the price down, you know how we price goods here in Nigeria. That moment I realized I'm not alone in this. Thanks to my colleague that went to the market with me, and we were sharing pictures with the celebrant until we were able to decide on which dress to go for. That's one of the reasons ladies spend a lot of time at the market.

I'm sure Nigerians can relate to these fabrics because I don't know if you can find such fabrics in other countries, you can make beautiful designs with any of this materials and they can be so attractive. But it's funny how you go into a store only to fill your eyes , though in the real sense you wish to have some of the materials for yourself, but then you know you don't have money to purchase at that particular point in time. Some marketers will understand that you could be a potential buyer while others will think you only came to waste their time and others will be saucy enough to chase you out of their store.

What's your take on this? Would you rather wait till you have enough money before going to the market? Is it okay to go feed your eyes and have an idea of how much you should plan for? Is it okay for marketers to appreciate a potential buyer or chase them out? I'll like your views on this. Do you also get confused at the site of different materials, do you need help picking dresses or would you rather pick a color and material at home before getting to the market place?

I personally need help with picking the right materials for the right occasions, so I mostly go to the market with someone that's good at it, to avoid regrets. I ended up getting the blue cord lace for #4000 per yard.

Thanks so much for your time, do have a great day.
