Cebu City in the Philippines is home to the oldest street, and it's a historical landmark as well, the famous Colon Street, Cebu City, Philippines. The night market, located in Colon Street, Cebu City, has opened for the season on October 27th and will continue until Christmas. In my blog today, I will be taking you on a tour of the Colon night market, which is a must-visit destination in the Philippines. You'll find a diverse range of products and options to choose from at the night market, as vendors are selling almost everything you can think of. I'll be showcasing some of the stalls in the night market and sharing my experience of shopping there. The prices are affordable and reasonable, and we ended up buying a few things.
From my apartment, I took an a 17B jeepney that costs 15 pesos as my fare. It takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes to get there. It's already past half afternoon, and it was getting a bit of traffic, but that's fine because I'm currently riding a modern jeepney, which is fully air-conditioned, and it's very comfortable to travel.
While waiting for the traffic light to turn green at one of Cebu City's busiest intersections, I took photos of the lively street. This spot attracts people of various races, cultures, and traditions. To avoid any trouble, I always refrain from jaywalking since police officers are scattered all over the area. This is where the jeepney stopped, and I had to cross the street to reach the Colon Night Market. I patiently waited for the green light and for all the vehicles to pass before crossing. It's essential to exercise caution in places like this, where there is no pedestrian lane. Following traffic light rules is crucial to ensure a safe passage across the street.
I then crossed the street, and I was welcomed by this group of women wearing green. They are the night market committee, making sure to keep the peace and order in the place. The night market flocks so many people, and it is important to keep the safety and security of everyone who visits here. They are also registering the vendors and stalls selling in the night market. Kudos all the hard-working committee of the night market!

This particular stall offers a wide variety of footwear, including sandals and shoes, that boast unique designs at reasonable prices. As shown in the photo, there are numerous options available, and the prices are notably lower than those found in malls. The majority of the sandals are crafted in Marikina City, the hub of footwear in the Philippines, some footwear are also from Carcar, Southern Cebu City, Philippines, where Filipinos create these masterpieces and offer a plethora of designs to choose from.

We came here to buy a clear case for my beau’s phone and we found one at one hundred pesos. His old phone case was already dirty so he decided to come here and buy a new phone cover. He also wanted a clear phone case because he just got his driver’s license and he wants to bring it with him regularly.
Look at that new phone cover we got for one hundred pesos!

Check out the variety of stalls at the Colon Night Market, featuring thrifted clothes and branded clothing at affordable prices. Although I'm a fan of thrift shopping, I couldn't do it today due to my itchy nose being triggered. I did manage to snap some photos of people enjoying the products, and the prices are definitely lower than those at the mall. If you have time, stop by the Colon Night Market, Colon Street, Cebu City, Philippines, it is open three days a week - on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, starting at 6:00 PM (although I'm not entirely sure of the time which it opens but it is a night market so perhaps, maybe at six?).

If there are a lot of rubber shoes and footwear stall, there is another stall selling socks. The variety of sizes, colors, and designs available might leave you indecisive if you were planning to make a purchase. Personally, I didn't buy any this time, but I plan to come back to the night market and get some for my work shoes.
At another stall, we stumbled upon a selection of thrifted shoes, many of which were top-quality, branded rubber sneakers. Anta, Adidas, Nike, Puma Sketchers ,and more were all represented. If you're a shoe enthusiast on a budget, this is the place for you. My beau struck a pose with this Anta rubbershoes which looked exactly like the ones he have at home. Despite being thrifted, these rubber shoes are among the best available on the market, and they're priced at half the cost of new ones.

I understand the fear especially since the place has been known to snatchers but we must always be cautious and wise ma’am make sure to put our things in safe bags and our valuables must always be looked after, luckily I got to get home safe will all my valuables intact and complete. There are also a lot of police in the area making the place a safer one. You should visit here soon.☺︎♡

Ang ganda talaga Kuya sa night market hehe lalo na rito kapag Christmas season na. Medyo nakakahinayang lang po ako don sa jelly case na worth 100😭😭😭😭.
It is way cheaper at Shopee maybe but we are not a fan of purchasing at online platforms because it always tends to deliver a wrong item. We want to see it personal and try it out. You'll really feel the Christmas spirit here in the Colon Night Market Cebu City.☺︎♡
