I’m not of “the finer things” ilk. If I had money just burning a hole in my pocket, I would either do more work on my house (aka The Money Pit) or give it to the poor. But buy an entire collection of overpriced leather pouches to carry lipstick? Nope!
Someone once told me: brand name clothes are better because they last a long time. I replied: The brand doesn't matter, because if you buy several at a lower price, it will last a long time if you know how to take care of it.I agree with you my friend @jayna, I am one of those who use the same bag for a long time.
I love to see showcases and I love to see things of value and those of less value, there are always beautiful things in all ways. Nice showcase of bags, the pink one is very nice, but it doesn't go with all kinds of clothes as you mention.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment, @isabelpena! I know in some circles, one must have the right brand. I guess I don't travel in those circles! So I agree with you that brand doesn't matter. But I suppose if I grew up in LA, or in an affluence community (we have them here in Minnesota too), maybe I would feel differently!
