RE: Market Friday Presents: A Tale of Tulips

You're entirely welcome for my accidental help. I probably would not have found the one here if it were not for some random post on FB. I got my older sister Vicky into it and then last year we gave Mom a subscription and flowers kept coming and coming all over. Sometimes the bouquets are large enough to share. Now the woman that has the flower farm comes to my little town on Wednesday's in the summer to sell more of her flowers at a little farmer's market. Pretty neat.

I wonder if there are more around here that I don't know about. I have some friends in the next county over that farm and one field is usually sunflowers. They don't do the public thing though, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind if I visited when they were in bloom. I may have to look around some more and see what else may be going on That I don't know about yet.

They also do that here with the farmer's markets! I thought that was pretty cool and how I found out about the first flower one I went to. (not the tulip/sunflower farm or the lavender) but the cut flower ones.

The tulip farm pulls the bulbs at the end of the season and plants sunflowers, so my passport is good for BOTH! I love that!

I cannot use all the sunflowers I can have, I run out of places to give them to! :) Isn't that a tough life? :)

Thanks, El! I hope you are having a great day!
