Well, it seems like you got good value for your $75.00... As in many other aspects of life, it's all about what you make of it! The fact that you were willing to put in the effort of going back often is what gave value to your money! I'm really glad that it gave you so much joy!
$10.00 for a hamburger is a bit on the steep side though...lol! In my currency that would be R180.00+! We can get a hamburger for anything from about R25.00 (that is a small one though. But for about R75.00 we can get a decent hamburger that makes part of a decent meal!
Thank you for sharing your Tulip experience with us, @dswigle!
You can find my post for this week here.
Well, because of its proximity to where I am during the day, it is a two-minute drive, :)
So, it really is a trip that is worth ten stems each time I go? I am ahead before the first week is finished! :) That spells a good deal to me! It does give me such joy and lots of different pictures to use throughout the year.
The food trucks that came were expensive. They probably figure they have a captive audience - and people bought!!! I never did, I cannot justify supporting the overpriced, less-than-wonderful food. Usually, food trucks are amazing. Yours found a little more realistic.
Thank you for the amazing support!
#MarketFriday loves you!
That is a good deal indeed!
Regarding the food truck... I suppose it's a matter of supply and demand. The demand was there and they jumped at the opportunity. And as long as there are people who are willing to pay those prices, they will sell at those prices...
Thank you, @dswigle!
True. I suppose that is what makes a business. I would rather bring my own picnic basket, which is encouraged, by the way. It is a lovely way to spend a day with family. :)
Have a wonderful weekend, Jaco @jacoalberts
If more people will following your lead by bringing their own picnic baskets, you'll see how those prices start dropping...lol!
Thank you, Denise! You must enjoy your weekend too!
