Yay… a wine tour. Love it 😍 I like going on these kind of informative tours.
What a beautiful area and so well kept. Jean truly looks happy, loving her job and a professional. It would be great to go on a tour like this. I’m already looking forward to next weeks post.
What great they even had a painting on the side of the barn. It so adds to the overall feel.
I like seeing those fences, they are great and can survive time for a long while.
I didn’t know about the roses… what helpful. They are a true alarm system for the grapevines. Thanks for sharing.
Such a great photographs Denise, I enjoyed them all. 🥰
Wonderful… so much beauty and history and so close by.
Thank you so much for sharing @dswigle 😊
Here is my post for this #marketFriday :
“Market Friday” ~ my BIRTHDAY dinner while moving 📦 and a view of the new garden 🌳🌴🌺
Have a wonderful Friday and enjoy the start of the weekend 👋🏻😊🤗🤗 Bigg huggg
I agree! I love these tours and they are fun for me too. I probably already told you that there are 300 Vineyards in Virginia and over 100 in Maryland. I have some serious tasting to do. I have only gone to about a few dozen of them!
Jean really loves her job and this is an exceptional winery. I was really happy to see them keep so much of the history intact and work around it to include the whole process. They did a seamless job. I will be going back again. The fences are so very cool and they used a few different examples all over the property.
The roses were a big surprise to me! Who knew!? Not me! Thanks so much for showing up and dropping your link. I hope you have gotten most of the house/apartment settled and you can relax a few while waiting to jump the pond.
I hope you have a peaceful weekend! Enjoy!! :)
#MarketFriday loves you!💙
Yes, so many in that region… you have lots to catch up hehehe 🤭
One could see she was having so much fun giving out all information.
It’s amazing when a place does keep history intact for generations to come. Some thing should not get lost.
I didn’t know either, I knew about mint, that helps protect vulnerable crops like salads and some other ones. But roses is new to me.
It is a great way without to much chemicals to be able to react instantly before it’s to late. Amazing 🤓
Most is done… still some more organising to do and unpacking. We will enjoy this new place for sure. It is much better on every level. And sitting in the garden 🥰 love it!
Thank you so much Denise @dswigle have a wonderful and peaceful weekend too.
Enjoy every moment. Bigg huggg 🤗😉🥰
